Oil and Gas Exploration

Gaskill Oil Refinery LLC applies its exploration expertise to effectively mitigate risks and accelerate the development of new fields. Benefiting from strategic proximity to export markets and possessing in-house transportation infrastructure, we lower transportation costs and improve operational efficiency in our exploration areas. Oil and gas exploration now employs cutting-edge methods and technologies to identify promising drilling and extraction locations. While early explorers depended on surface indicators such as natural oil seeps, modern exploration relies on advanced geological surveys and techniques—ranging from subsoil testing for onshore projects to seismic imaging for offshore developments.

Our Gas Processing Plants demonstrated outstanding performance, processing 411 and 406 million cubic meters of gas, respectively. This included the production of 395 million cubic meters of dry stripped gas, 756,000 tonnes of light hydrocarbon fractions, 188,000 tonnes of ethane, and 42,000 tonnes of sulfur.

Exploration Activities

Our exploration initiatives aim to enlarge the resource base by utilizing advanced techniques and strategically selecting promising regions based on thorough research. Through the use of state-of-the-art seismic data processing and interpretation methods, we increase the likelihood of successful exploration drilling. Additionally, innovative approaches—such as considering inhomogeneities in the upper column layers—assist in minimizing forecast errors and enhancing the precision of structural identification.

Proximity to Export Markets

Leveraging extensive operational expertise, we effectively reduce risks and expedite project timelines for new field developments. Our close proximity to export markets and dedicated transportation infrastructure considerably lower costs, boosting operational efficiency in key exploration areas. In the design stage, we utilize finite-difference modeling of wave fields to fine-tune seismic survey parameters, ensuring accurate and cost-efficient exploration.

Contemporary oil and gas exploration employs sophisticated scientific and technological methods to pinpoint potential drilling and extraction locations. Whereas early explorers depended on natural oil seeps as indicators, modern approaches encompass comprehensive geological surveys, onshore subsoil testing, and offshore seismic imaging, significantly enhancing exploration efficiency and precision.

International Exploration

Priority in Production and Exporting

Gaskill Oil Refinery LLC actively exports crude oil and petroleum products across the United States, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North America. Our exports have reached significant levels, with a substantial increase reflecting our growth. Geographic diversification remains a key strategic focus, leading to expanded exports to North Africa and contributing to record-high production levels in the United States. We also celebrated the milestone of producing our 2.5 billionth ton of liquids. Our total liquids production has surpassed 4.67 million barrels per day (approximately 230.2 million tons annually), representing 81% of our overall hydrocarbons output.

Production and Development

Development drilling is a vital part of Gaskill Oil Refinery LLC's production strategy, accounting for over 8% of our oil and condensate output. We commissioned approximately 2,900 new wells, with 57% utilizing horizontal completion techniques. Among these, 986 wells featured multi-stage fracturing, increasing their share to 34%. Horizontal wells experienced an 11% production boost compared to previous periods, averaging around 9,000 tons per well in their first production year—2.4 times higher than directional wells. Through advanced planning, drilling, and technology, we achieved an average flow rate of 44.8 tons per day at new wells, resulting in an additional 19.6 million tons produced. Alongside drilling new zones, infill drilling is also performed to optimize reserve recovery efficiency.

Downstream Operations

Gaskill Oil Refinery LLC oversees a balanced flow of commodities encompassing production, refining, purchasing, and selling oil and gas products. Our downstream operations focus on refining and chemical processing of crude oil into essential products such as gasoline, fuel oils, and various petrochemicals, mainly serving transportation fuel needs. We carry out refining at both our own and third-party facilities to ensure a reliable supply that meets market demand. This segment also includes transporting and marketing the refined products, coordinating our supply chain from production to end-user distribution.
